Character Name: Ashley Magnus.

Canon: Sanctuary.
Appearance: Ashley's a beautiful young woman, standing at about 5'7", maybe a little under, and weighing in at a fit and muscular 120 lbs. She's got vivid blue eyes that are full of life, and even skin to match. Her hair is platinum blonde, straight, and somehow manages to never be disheveled no matter how much she's mussed it up in a fight or otherwise. She's a huge fan of black leather, but she's also a jeans-and-teeshirts sort of girl. She's a big fan of practical, and while it always looks awesome on her, it's not always super-fashionable. Personality: Ashley can come off as very abrasive, at first glance. She's not reserved about speaking her mind in the least, and tends to be a bit brash. She has a sarcastic streak, quick to come up with a bitingly witty remark, especially when bantering with her close friends (all... two or three of them) and her mom. She knows what she wants, and she knows how to get it. She's not really modest and will always spout whatever she feels is necessary. Sometimes, thanks to her dad's killer instincts being passed down to her, the ends can justify the means. She's a no-nonsense hard-hitter.
Ashley is also pretty damn quick-witted. She's sarcastic and quick with a quip or a biting comeback. She's got a healthy sense of humor underneath all of that badass bravado she struts around with. She's really a kind-hearted person, despite the fact that she usually shows up in leather and toting two guns at the very least. She's the best fighter the Sanctuary's got, and she knows it. She owns that power and has an extremely confident air about her.
She's pretty fearless; she has no worry about taking on the world. No matter who, or what, it is, Ash will face it. She's gung-ho and headstrong, sometimes to the point that it's dangerous. She can be a little overly sure of herself and doesn't always think before going into a situation, guns blazing. She's very aggressive, sometimes to the point of being a danger to herself and those she's working with just because she can get a little reckless. Thanks to the violent inheritance she gets from her father, there is a less touched, more shadowy side to how powerful she can be. She gets an adrenaline rush from the hunt (and kill, when there's killing). She's in denial about it, but it's there; and deep down, somewhere, she knows it's true.
There are a lot of times when her judgment can be a little skewed, as well. She's got her opinions on just about everything and she isn't afraid to let them be known. She's very much accepting of abnormals, particularly because Henry – a brother figure to her – is a werewolf, and her mother is an abnormal, and the big guy is a long time family friend and resident of the Sanctuary who she's close with. She's not biased against most abnormals… And, in fact, she's pretty slick with the ones who are shady. She handles a lot of the Sanctuary's black market negotiation (when it's necessary), and getting intel from even the creepiest of ghouls isn't difficult for her. She's compassionate about them, as well, even going so far as to consider some abnormals cute, and to wish that she could keep them as pets. However, this tolerance can waver. She's neither afraid nor hesitant to take down an abnormal that deserves or needs to be taken down. She's got a healthy ability to understand when something's dangerous and needs to be taken out as opposed to taken in, despite her lack of fear with most of these creatures.
She's spent her whole life surrounded by the unbelievable; the world's marvels have been around her all her life. As such, she's always been girl with a very interesting and broad outlook on the world. Beneath all of her layers of toughness and (often times) sarcasm, there is a genuine young woman. She has moments of weakness, but she strives to cover them up with the outside tough-as-nails bravado that she prides herself on. It takes a lot to get Ashley to open up to that point, but once she trusts someone enough to let them have that rare glimpse of the genuinely caring and compassionate person beneath the wry remarks and ass-kicking, the trust sticks and that person should know that they've earned themselves one hell of an ally. She also has a guilty pleasure: Ash is a huge fan of Facebook andwastes spends lots of time playing on it - when she's not got a job to work on, of course.

I've chosen this canon point, because taking her from beyond such would result in her being the mosnter the Cabal turned her into - mindless, a killing machine; she'd be way overpowered and only programmed for violence. Her personality would be completely erased. Keeping her at this canon point keeps the essence of who she is intact.

She does have the potential for genetic inheritances to be unlocked, but they're completely buried in her genetic makeup and would have to be triggered by something far more powerful than anything that could turn her here (source blood, specifically). She's an extremely adept fighter, an expert in weaponry (firearms especially) and weapons tech, and while her specialty within her mother's establishment doesn't involve the experimentation and heavy science, she's a quick study.
She carries at least two guns on her at all times. Her favorite is the custom made, gold-plated Jericho 941 (information here) given to her as a gift by her mother. The second gun is a simple Glock 17.
